EFFECT OF BIOFERTILIZERS AND HUMIC ACIDS ON THE GROWTH OF THREE COFFEE VARIETIES AT THE NURSERY LEVEL IN CHANCHAMAYO, CENTRAL JUNGLE OF PERU

In recent years, escalating chemical fertilizer costs have imperiled the economic feasibility of coffee cultivation in Peru, resulting reduced yields across plantations. This study aimed to assess biofertilizers' effect on growth and biomass three varieties. Employing a complete factorial design (A×B), Factor A encompassed varieties: Castillo, Catuaí, Obata, while B comprised five treatments: edaphic fertilization combined with humic acids (FEAH), Trichoderma (FET), mycorrhizae (FEM), (FE), no-fertilization control group (SF), totaling 15 treatments. included biometric measurements height, leaf count, stem diameter, total fresh biomass, dry biomass. Notably, Castillo variety exhibited promising outcomes, boasting plant height 15.8 cm, diameter 4.30 mm, count 12.14, weight 10.82 g per plant, 2.26 plant. Comparative assessment technological interventions revealed superior results enhanced FEAH FEM compared FET, FE, SF.
